It’s That Time of the Year: the 2010 Vera Bradley Planner

I can't get over the fact that I'm already talking about the 2010 Vera Bradley Planner, but time flies, and the new year is really only a couple of months away!  I already have a handful of appointments scheduled for next year, so even though it seems much too early to be talking about this topic, I have to be planning for January 1 and the days that follow.

This year's agenda is 7" x 8½" x 1½" and features a one inch three ring binder design.  The calendar is tab-separated and runs from August 2009 through December 2010 - yep, that means you can starting using it right away, rather than waiting until next year (one more reason to get it now!).  It also includes 164 pages with lists, a movable pocket, bookmark, and sticker sheet.  The 2010 Vera Bradley Planner comes in fall and winter's new signature colors - Pirouette, Carnaby, Blue Rhapsody, Symphony in Hue, Imperial Toile and Paprika.

Adults are not the only ones who need to stay organized, and although I know a few teens who would love the regular day planner, there is also a student version available.  There are some significant differences between the regular organizer and the student agenda.  The student style features wire binding (instead of a three ring binder), a calendar that runs from August 2009 through August 2010, a class schedule, metric coversion tables, and pages for notes.  I have only seen it in the fall fabrics, and although I could be wrong, I do not think its available in the 2009 winter fabrics.

Even though there are plenty of mobile devices and electronic gizmos that are supposed to help with the ongoing problem of staying organized, I always opt for good old-fashioned pen and paper.  I can't think of a better way to keep track of appointments and special occasions!
