Outlet Sale Giveaway #2: A Vera Bradley Mailbag

I have another giveaway for all of you!  This time it's a Vera Bradley Mailbag in Hello Dahlia.  The Mailbag retails for $68.00, but I got it for $35.99 at the outlet sale (almost half off!).

This style is one of my favorites (I know, I say that about all of them, don't I!).  The front flap has a long zippered pocket and stays closed with magnets.  Under the flap, there's another zippered pocket.  Open it up to find slip pockets and four credit card sized slots.  The interior compartment has a zipper closure and three more slip pockets.  The strap is adjustable. This bag is roomy and the interior compartment is deep. It can be used for many versatile purposes.  If I return to the outlet sale this weekend, I plan to pick up a few more of this style for my nieces - I think these make the perfect book bags for school.  It could also be used as a tote for netbooks or smaller laptops, or even as a compact diaper bag.

Vera Bradley Yoga Mat Giveaway!

Thanks to all who entered the giveaway for the Vera Bradley Yoga Mat!  A winner has been selected, and the comments are now closed.

I purchased several things at the Outlet Sale today for giveaways here over the next few days.  The first item I have is a Vera Bradley Yoga Mat in Night and Day.   The yoga mat normally retails for $48.00, but I was able to purchase it at the sale today for $18.99.  Awesome deal, huh!  As much as I want to keep it (and I really do!), it belongs to one of you.

The yoga mat case has a pocket for your water bottle, and there's a slot at the bottom to place your I.D.  The strap is adjustable, and the top has a drawstring closure.  Here's a picture of the mat and case:

I love this bag! More than once, I have had to resist the temptation to tear the price tag off and to declare it "MINE!". It is so pretty. However, I purchased it with the intention of giving it away, and so, that's what I'm going to do!

Before we go into the giveaway details, I will tell you a little bit about it...

* This tote is a beautiful limited edition style from the black microfiber collection. Although the style is now retired, it will never go out of style.

* It features double quilted stitching. Many of the microfiber bags feature contrasting stitching, but this one has coordinating black stitching.

* It has eye-catching chrome-colored rivet and buckle details. Very classy looking!

* Pockets? Of course! It has a large slip pocket on the front exterior of the tote. Inside, there are two smaller slip pockets, as well as one large zippered pocket.

* Although it's a "tote", the main compartment does have a zipper closure, and the overall styling is more like a purse.

Vera Bradley Mod Floral Pink…or Mod Floral Blue?

Which do you like better - the Vera Bradley Mod Floral Pink fabric or Mod Floral Blue?

If you are curious as to why I am asking...

Well, it has been some time since I had a giveaway - come to think of it, it was last year! Actually, it was just last month (in December 2008), but if you are from my neck of the woods, the days really do drag by during the month of January - and one month does sometimes feel like an entire year!

To get back on subject, I have a few items set aside that I would like to give away, but I am having trouble deciding which one to put up for grabs next. So, I think I will let you help me!

Both patterns feature a bold, beautiful flower pattern. However, the colors are what differentiates them.

The Vera Bradley Mod Floral Pink features flowers in varying shades of pink, accented with white, green, teal, and soft orange, on a brown background. If you loved the bag that Bree carried on Desperate Housewives last season, this is the pattern!

The Vera Bradley Mod Floral Blue features flowers in different shades of blue, as well as tan, teal, green and white. The flowers on this pattern are on a navy blue backdrop.

I am always on the lookout for contests and giveaways featuring free Vera Bradley products.  The most recent contest I found is by Guideposts magazine, with an entry deadline of May 31, 2008.  The theme of the contest is "Giving Back" and it features products with profits that support cancer research and awareness. 

Free Vera Bradley Pinwheel Pink purse

The contest includes a Vera Bradley Pinwheel Pink purse.  Like the now retired Pink Elephants print, Vera Bradley donates 10% of the net proceeds from the sale of Pinwheel Pink to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer and other breast cancer projects and services.  

In addition to the Pinwheel Pink handbag, the contest giveaway also includes the following items:
