Over the weekend, a reader sent me an e-mail asking if there were any Christmas Vera Bradley patterns. According to his e-mail, his wife had pointed out a holiday style while they were out and about, and he was hoping to get her a bag in that particular pattern as a gift.
Unfortunately, this year Vera Bradley did not release any holiday styles, although I think two new fall styles, Frankly Scarlet and Mediterranean White, could be considered "Christmasey" substitutes.
As for retired patterns, I was able to find down the following...
Hens -n- Holly (retired in January '03)
Red Holiday (retired in January '99)
Holiday '95 (retired in January '96)
Noel (retired in January '94)
Red Microfiber (retired date unknown)
I have a feeling there are probably more Vera Bradley Christmas patterns, so I'm asking for your assistance! If you can think of any others, help us complete this list by posting a comment below...

I have a square tablecloth and 4 placemats with a black background, red ribbon border and holly patten. Not sure when I got it, but I do love it and finally used it on the table this year. I had been “saving” it because it was so beautiful, but hey, I’m 58, what am I saving it for???
Hi Mary,
I bet it was beautiful! I’m always saving things too – come to think of it, I have been married for 14 years and have never used my good china that my husband and I received for a wedding present! I think I just might have to pull it out and put it to good use someday soon…
I have a cosmetic bag with Holly, red ribbons with christmas balls on a black background. What pattern and year is this? Thanks
Hi Jane,
Based on your description, I think it may be the Hens -n- Holly print from early 2000…
