Get a Sneak Peek at the Spring 2009 Vera Bradley Collection - and Help Out a Good Cause!

Would you like to get a sneak peek at the Spring 2009 Vera Bradley collection (waaaay before anyone else)?  I would!  However, I can think of only one problem - there’s several months (and several feet of snow) to go before I can actually purchase any of them!  However, you will have a chance to get a sneak peek in the very near future, and it’s all for a very good cause.  Keep reading to find out more…

As many of you probably know, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month.  To kick off this special month, the Vera Bradley company is planning its fifth annual Tickled Pink event.  This fundraising event will be held the evening of Friday, October 3, 2008, at the company’s distribution center in Roanoke, Indiana.  Tickets for the event are available for $75.00 per person. Details regarding purchasing tickets can be found here

There is more than one reason to attend Tickled Pink.  First and foremost, all proceeds benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.  Second, it promises to be a fun girls’ night out, complete with hors d’ouevres, cocktails, an exclusive Vera Bradley gift for anyone attending (hmmm, I wonder what it could be!), and as promised, a sneak peek at the Spring 2009 Vera Bradley fabrics, including Hope Garden, the 2009 Breast Cancer Awareness pattern.  There will also be a special performance by popular Australian singer/songwriter Delta Goodrem.

Do you know what other big Vera Bradley event is taking place on October 3rd?  That’s right, Tickled Pink is the same weekend as the Outlet Sale!  Make a day (and night) of it by attending both!  Just make sure to get your tickets as soon as possible for the fundraiser, because I hear that they sell out quickly!
