Not long ago, I posted that a new limited edition line was going to be introduced for autumn - the Vera Bradley Canvas Collection. It's now been available for the past couple of weeks in select stores, and for those of you lucky enough to have seen these new bags in person (or to own one), I'm curious to know if you like them as much as I do!
The handbags in this line feature durable, stain-resistant canvas. The creamy, quilted fabric is beautifully accented with rich brown suede details and sturdy webbed straps. They are a little pricier than the signature cotton styles - the Cedar Duffel retails for $165, the Birchwood Backpack for $120, and the Chestnut Tote for $105.
However, I think that they are worth every penny - and I must not be alone on this one. The stores that do carry them are having a hard time keeping them in stock, and even the Vera Bradley website appears to be sold out of a couple of the styles! However, as usual, I can't resist the temptation to add a poll. So, here goes...

Another thing that I really love about the new canvas handbags is that they mix and match well with some of the other styles. Wallets and accessories made with the Espresso Microfiber or Carnaby patterns coordinate well with the new canvas collection - not to mention the fact that this collection also looks great with many of the fall clothing styles and colors.

The Canvas collection bags are difficult to find – the styles were limited edition and are no longer available, although I am hoping they will introduce some more canvas styles this fall (the same as they do with the microfiber line). You can still find them on eBay – check out the listings above.
