Vera Bradley Hello Dahlia: Thoughts of Autumn

The Vera Bradley Hello Dahlia print is perhaps the prettiest pattern of the fall 2010 season!

I'm a midwestern girl through and through, and that's probably why autumn is my favorite season.  It will be here before we know it, won't it?  In addition to the colors of the changing leaves, the hand-carved pumpkins, and the corn stalks wrapped around light posts, I have a special place in my heart for the mums and dahlias that start filling up the flower beds starting in late summer.

It always makes me a little sad when the weather turns much cooler, and the inevitable hard frost comes along, bringing an end to these pretty blooms.  Every year I wish that I had gathered up everything left in the flower beds and brought them inside before the frost.  Of course, cut flowers only last a short time too, so the end must always come.

I think that is why I love the Vera Bradley Hello Dahlia pattern so much. My favorite flowers of the season are preserved timelessly in this print.  When the snow starts to fly, this pattern will be a gentle reminder to me that seasons do change, that winter won't last forever, and that autumn will return again.  For now, though, I'm just going to enjoy the warm days of summer.  Fall will be here soon enough...

    Hi Barb,

Are you referring to the Outlet Sale in Fort Wayne, Indiana? There have been a couple of times where they had a spring and fall sale, but recently, there has only been one in the spring. I hope that answers your question!
