Keep an eye out for the Vera Bradley Hope Grows Float in the The 2009 Rose Bowl Parade, starting at 8:00 a.m. PST on January 1, 2009. You can watch the parade on both ABC and NBC, as well as see it online at ktla.com. This is the 120th year for the parade, which is not only seen by millions here in the U.S., but also by many more in 200 international territories.
Back to the float! Check out this sneak peek of it...

One word - beautiful! I can't wait to see the finished version...
For the first time ever, you can also vote for your favorite float in the parade. The winner will receive the Viewers' Choice Trophy. Hmmm...I wonder which one I will vote for
As many of you already know, the Vera Bradley Company is very proactive in spreading its breast cancer awareness message. This float is one more way that they are getting the word out. Actress and breast cancer survivor Cynthia Nixon (a/k/a Miranda from Sex in the City) will ride on the float, along with three other breast cancer survivors.
Make sure you check back in after seeing the Vera Bradley Hope Grows Float in the 2009 Rose Parade, to let me know your thoughts...
UPDATE...
Well, the Vera Bradley Hope Grows Float did not win the Viewers' Choice Trophy - however, it did take the top prize for the Director's Award for Outstanding Artistic Merit in Design & Floral Presentation!
