Win a Vera Bradley Backsack!

The backsack giveaway is now closed.  There will be another one soon, so make sure you check back!

Hey all, I have another giveaway!  This time it's a Vera Bradley Backsack in Peacock.  Check it out...

The entry rules are very similar to the last giveaway.

HOW TO ENTER THIS GIVEAWAY:

• Christmas is just around corner, so this time I'm asking that you post a comment here letting us know which one Vera Bradley item is on your Christmas wish list.  What style is it?  How about the pattern?  If you can’t remember the names, describe it and we’ll ask Santa to figure it out!
• Make sure your e-mail is entered correctly in the form in case you win.
• Privacy is protected, and e-mails are only used to work out the details for mailing the winner the item won during this giveaway
• Duplicate entries will be removed. One entry per person please.
• Giveaway ends on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at midnight EST.
• Only open to residents of USA.
• The winner will be chosen using a random number generator.
• The winner will be announced the following day. Good luck!
• The last giveaway had only fifteen comments, meaning that entrants has a 1 in 15 chance of winning!  I have more giveaways in the works too, so consider subscribing to my RSS feed, so that you don’t miss your next opportunity!

More About This Prize

This Vera Bradley Backsack is made with the Peacock fabric, a cheerful pattern featuring turquoise and lime green.  It has an exterior zip pocket that opens vertically - that's right, instead of horizontally.  How fun is that!  It also has three interior slip pockets.  The drawstring closure is fed through stylish silver rivets, and sturdy spaghetti straps are the finishing touch.

I will let you in on a little secret - this is not the only Vera Bradley backsack I am giving away this holiday season.  I have three nieces - second, third and fourth grade - who are each getting one of these for Christmas!  My nieces also love to craft.  When we get together, we usually end up making potholders or playing with my Knifty Knitters, so I am filling their bags with yarn and other craft supplies!  Nothing too expensive, but it should keep them busy during the long winter months here in Indiana.

Well, that's enough about me - it's your turn now!  Besides this backsack, what one Vera Bradley item do you hope Santa leaves under your tree this year?  Remember, if you want a chance to win, you have only until December 6th to let us know...

UPDATE ON 12/07/08

Congratulations to Jerri Payne for winning the Backsack Giveaway!  I used the random number generator at mathgoodies.com to pick the winning comment number:

As you can see, number twelve was the lucky number for today.  Congratulations Jerri!  Thanks to everyone who left a comment, and if your number wasn’t picked this time, make sure you check back in.  I will be posting another giveaway very soon!

My favorite purse is the amy. Just small enough for a few things. It’s got an adjustable strap to be worn over the shoulder or cross body. I totally love my amy purses! I have one in: peacock, yellow bird and picadilly plum.

Thanks so much! I hope I win.

I’m new to the Vera Bradley scene with only one under my belt. My teenage daughter however is no stranger to them. The one I would wish for Christmas would be either the backpack purse or the backsack in Kensington or Java Blue. I’m partial to the dark colors but definatley not apposed to bright ones! Boy, wouldn’t my daughter be jealous!

  8. The Caffe Late is my favorite print. Both my daughter and I love the new Mediterranean Blue print and we both have items on our wish list for the laptop bag and my favorite, the Villager in this print. I love all of the pockets inside. Happy Holidays!
