I love the name of this fabric pattern! Calypso, as you may recall from high school or college literature classes, was an immortal sea nymph from Greek mythology. She was also a character in Homer's epic work, the "Odyssey", entrapping him on her island for several years, until Zeus demanded his release. I think it's great that this pretty nautical print shares its name with a mythological sea nymph!
