What's not to love about the Vera Bradley Night and Day pattern, new for summer 2010! This floral fabric is the perfect example of why they say that opposites attract - with bold black flowers splashed against a contrasting white background, this chic pattern will turn heads all year long. A hint of charcoal is the perfect accent color, outlining the flowers and the stems.
Although the contrast in color will be the first thing you notice about this pattern, it's not the only "Night & Day" difference you will see. According to the Vera Bradley website, the inspiration for the floral pattern was a "1950s 'tachiste' art style known for irregular dappled shapes". In contrast, the inspiration for the border, which has a geometric, mosaic quality to it, came from a cathedral in Milan. Black and white, irregular and geometric - it all works together to make the Vera Bradley Night and Day fabric pattern a favorite!
