You could say that Vera Bradley luggage is where this line of popular bags got it start. The co-founders of the Vera Bradley company, Barbara Baekgaard and Patricia Miller, started their company back in 1982 after noticing that there was a lack of feminine, functional luggage for women.
Vera Bradley luggage has grown to international popularity since its humble roots back in the eighties. Garment bags, rolling duffels and totes, and carry-ons make up this line of fashionable and functional bags for traveling. Personally, I turn positively green with envy when I see someone board a plane with one of the Vera Bradley luggage products. I keep hoping my old carry-on will fall apart so I can upgrade. When it does, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will get a coordinating luggage tag too!
